​What's going on around the club

At the moment Winter Social Bowls is in full swing. We have been having good numbers attending and I think that the weather has had something to do with it. Registration sheets are up in the Bowls Office. Why not come down for a game and support YOUR CLUB.

 

Tuesday - Scroungers - Names in by 9.30am - 10am start. $5 per person. Contact person is Kerry Godden 0438 944 866.

Thursday - Mufti Pairs - Names in by 11.30am - 12.30pm start. $10 per person. Contact person is Warren Hinchliffe 0421 022 580.

Saturday - Mufti Pairs - Names in by 11.30am - 12.30pm start. $10 per person.

Our 2025/2026 Club Fixture and Event booklet should be available early September.  Our hard working Club Captains are working on it as we speak. 

 

Sparbier/Opening Day - Sunday 14 September 

Please put this date in your calendar. More details to follow, but we usually kick off with a Hamburger lunch about 11.30am, followed by drawn Fours. There are registration sheets up in the Bowls Office.

Fathers Day Raffle 

Kerry Godden is organising a Fathers Day Raffle to assist the club with the costs in hosting the Ladies Gala Day, President's Cup and Morley Millions Fours. If anyone would like to donate any items for the raffle - Wine, beer, spirits, chocolates or a cash donation, please see Kerry, she would be most appreciative.

Umpiring Courses - Self Paced and Face to Face Courses Available

The club is running low on umpires and we encourage any of you who would like to give it a go to please check out the information by clicking on the link below. The club will also pay your course fee. Please click here for more information and course dates.

Rec Club Fees

You should have all received your Rec Club fees. These are due for payment now. 

You will all receive your Capitation (Pennant fees) sometime in October. These are usually around $77.

2025/2026 Bowls WA Calendar 

You have also been emailed a copy of the Bowls WA Calendar of Events for the upcoming season. This will help you plan your holidays and not miss too many weeks of bowls. 

Your Club Captains will schedule some practice matches in September and early October. Your season will officially kick off the week commencing 21 October.
