Appreciation Sundowner - Friday 10 June
A big thank you to everyone who attended Murray's Appreciation Sundowner recently. After 18 years of outstanding service, our very own Murray Reynish is stepping down as Treasurer and handing the purse strings over to Kristy McGlew (our new incoming Treasurer). Thank you also to everyone who generously contributed to Murray's thank you gifts. I think this lot will keep him very busy!!
Tuesday Social Bowls (Open to all)
Tuesday social bowls are now open gender and also open to other clubs and new bowlers. Names in by 12.15pm for a 12.30 start. $5 per head. The first Tuesday of the month will be scroungers format and on the other days, it will be different formats. (Drawn Pairs or Triples).

Winter Social Bowls - Mufti Pairs (Thursday, Saturday)
Mufti Pairs are on every Thursday and Saturday - 12.30pm for a 1pm start. Sheets are up in the Bowls Office so get your names up now and enjoy some great afternoons of bowling. Cost $10. Open to other clubs. Enquiries to Keith on 0411 453 065.

Have you ever wanted to try lawn bowls? Look no further. Why not come down and have a go. We are a very friendly, welcoming club with two coaches who would be only too happy to give you some basic instruction and get you started.

Ladies Novice Club Championship
Four of our Novice ladies contested the Novice Championship today and you wouldn't have known that they were novices. Winner: Janet Spellissy and the Runner-up was Beth Boorer. The plate winner was Jelena Maurac over June Lambe. Congratulations ladies.

And the winner is ....... Kerrie Hudson - again!! What a season this girl has had. Congratulations to Chris Bell who gave Kerrie a run for her money.

Singles Club Championships
The Final of the Singles Club Championship took place on Sunday and what an outstanding day of bowling it was. All games were hotly contested with Matty Perich getting the win over Chris Bell and Kerrie Hudson beating Karen McKinlay in a terrific game. Congratulation everyone, we would have paid money to watch these games!!

Men and Ladies Fours Club Championship - Done and Dusted !!
Both the Men's and Ladies Fours Club Championships concluded on Sunday and what can I say - Wow, wow and wow!!
Winners: Peter Brewer, Ken Rouse, Gordon Slee and Murray Reynish.
Apparently, it is Gordon's first Club Championship win in 26 years and only Murray's second Fours Championship in 20 years. Well done guys and it just shows that perseverance pays off and of course a great team haha!!
Runner Up: Ken Perks, Tom Dawson, Allan Boorer and Glenn Pinto.
Plate: Vic Orchard, Peter Lawlor, John Smith and Warren Hinchliffe.
Ladies Fours Club Championship
There were some outstanding bowls played by some 'new combinations'. Congratulations to all players for playing this event in such a great spirit and being so supportive of each other - proud to call you all teammates. A big thank you to Sue Brown for stepping in to Skip the eventual Runner Up team.

The Ladies Club Championship was played over 1-day last Sunday and what a cracker of a day it was!! Some outstanding bowls were played by all of our ladies, seeing some extremely close matches taking place. Congratulations to everyone for supporting this event and making it so enjoyable.

Morley Millions Pairs - Sunday 20 February
The much anticipated Morley Millions Pairs took place on Sunday 20 February with 36 teams battling it out for some fabulous prize money. The winners were Segan Pasalich and Andrew Pasalich from Osborne Park. Runner-Up: Sam Perica and Daryl Flintoff. Equal 3rd: Justin Smith and Aaron Smith and David Park and John Morss. Congratulations to all winners and a big thank you to everyone for supporting this event.
The winner of the Bonanza Aero Raffle was Maureen Liddington (Morley) and 2nd Prize was Peter Dennis.
Men Triples Club Championship
The Men's Club Championship Triples concluded last Sunday. The day saw 4 seasons taking place in one day!! Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations to all winners.

Ladies Gala Day - Wednesday 23 February
The Ladies Gala Day took place on Wednesday 23 February with 24 teams entering. Teams came from as far as Goomalling, Yanchep and Mandurah. A great day of bowling and camaraderie was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you to Donato's Catering for a fabulous lunch. A huge thank you to Kerry Godden and her fabulous team of ladies for all their outstanding work pulling this very successful event together. Corporate Bowls - Season 1 Winners
It's a wrap. Season 1 of Corporate Bowls concluded on Wednesday 23 February with the 'Fifties & Sixties Boys' reigning supreme. (Mick Italiano, Rod Coultas, Merv Williams and Ken Bowra. Congratulations guys on 5 great weeks of bowling. A big thank you to all of our 16 teams for supporting this event over the last 5 weeks. A big thank you to the Committee and members for all your help organising and running this event, you have no idea how much it is appreciated.

President's Cup - Friday 4 February
A big thank you to our 22 teams who braved the heat to compete in our very popular annual President's Cup. A great lunch was provided by our star caterers - Donatos Catering. Our very popular winners were Ellenbrook (Joe Rollnik, MIck Ryan, Ross Porteous and Nerrida Porteous. Runner-up was Nollamara. Congratulations to everyone for supporting this event.
